I’m not sure if it was the result of other people emailing Ben, or my insistence on letting everyone at HostGator know how much Ben had screwed up, but I got an email that absolutely had me giddy with laughter:
I have found a backup of your account ******* on the old Exovian backup server. Would you like us to do anything with the backup?
If there is anything else we can assist you with please do not hesitate to ask.
I don’t know how much is there yet, but right on to *someone* at that organization for actually looking into a problem and trying to offer some sort of satisfaction to the customer. Of course, they wanted me to open a HostGator account to move the backup to, but I declined.
